Scottie Savers Club
This special club is exclusively for members up to age 12. It requires the minimum opening deposit of a regular share account, and it gives so many neat rewards.

For every ten dollars you deposit into your share (savings) account, you will earn one Scottie Buck (maximum ten Scottie bucks per day). You can then use your Scottie bucks to purchase fun prizes. Take a look:

In addition, this club offers quarterly contests in which all members are eligible to participate. You'll find out about the contests by reading your quarterly newsletters or checking the bulletin board at our office. And, because Sabine Federal Credit Union supports your hard academic work, we also offer a Report Card contest. Just bring your good report card to either office, and the receptionist will enter your name into a random drawing for a prize. Because the school districts in Orange County are on different reporting schedules, Sabine Federal Credit Union draws report card winners in January and July.

To further encourage your savings habit, we have a special Scottie Saver term share certificate. This investment rewards you with higher dividends for longer term deposits.

CUT$ (Credit Union Teen $avers) Club
Existing Scottie Savers members will automatically become a CUT$ member. This club is for our members ages 13 -19. Once you enter the club, you are eligible for a special welcome packet. For every $25 deposit you make, you are encouraged to sign up for our monthly drawings (which double during the summer months). And, because Sabine Federal Credit Union supports your hard academic work, we also offer a Report Card contest. You will receive a quarterly newsletter with money making and money savings tips, as well as read about things at the Credit Union. We’ll fill you in on some of our coolest services, as well as let you know when we plan special events just for your age group.

And the biggest reward for our CUT$ club…Each year, Sabine Federal Credit Union will award $1,000 in scholarships. Two high school graduates will each receive $500 for college or technical school.

Googolplex
Googolplex is an online resource that teaches our young members smart money moves. It’s all about money – getting it, saving it, spending it, and borrowing it. Googolplex is fun and entertaining. It teaches young members to take control of their financial future. This online magazine contains stories, games, and puzzles, featuring something new each week for students of all ages! There are 3 levels to choose from:
5-Spot – for elementary students
A.J.’s – for middle school students
C-Note – for high school students

Guides to Independence
Guides to Independence is an online, interactive way for young adults to learn about various topics ranging from managing a checking account and buying a used car to saving and investing, and more. Each course contains interactive activities to make learning fun. The courses only take about 15 minutes to complete.
